Some weddings have energy… and then there was this one. Riddhi and Angad’s day at Old Thorns Hotel genuinely took me by surprise — in the best possible way. What began as a calm, beautiful morning quickly evolved into one of the liveliest, most dance-filled celebrations I’ve ever filmed.
Morning Calm, Evening Fire
The day began with the classic rituals: Riddhi getting ready, her details captured with love and care; and with Angad, the morning rituals with his family — warm, intimate, meaningful. The air felt calm, respectful, and traditional.
Once those rituals concluded, something changed. Almost like someone flipped a switch — the entire wedding party morphed into pro dancers. Angad’s entrance turned into a full-on dance performance that carried straight through to the mandap. The mood shifted from quiet ritual to electric celebration.

When Riddhi made her entrance, she was resplendent — and the crowd went wild. Naturally, that triggered another dance frenzy. In that moment, I knew this wouldn’t be a standard wedding video. This was a celebration with soul.
Throughout the ceremony, both families kept seizing any chance they got to dance — a joyous breakdown of tradition and formality, and a pure embrace of celebration.
The Perfect Backdrop: Old Thorns Hotel & Resort
Old Thorns Hotel & Resort — nestled in 400 acres of Hampshire countryside — made a beautiful setting for this wedding. With a variety of licensed ceremony and reception spaces ranging from intimate suites to grand ballrooms, it offers the flexibility many couples need — whether you’re planning a small family affair or a large celebration.
For this wedding, the hotel’s versatile layout and open-space options worked beautifully. The mix of indoor elegance and potential outdoor charm suited the vibrant, festive vibe — ideal for an Asian wedding blending ritual, tradition, and modern dance-party energy.
Couple’s Shoot & Evening Vibes
After the ceremony we moved into the couple’s shoot — and wow, Riddhi and Angad smashed it. They knew exactly what they wanted and delivered with charm, confidence, and chemistry. Those shots will age beautifully, whether in a highlight reel or full-feature.
As evening rolled in, the speeches began — and quickly turned into a roast of Angad. Poor man, but he took it like an absolute champ. The room was in stitches from start to finish. You can catch a taste of that in the comedic preview here: https://www.tiktok.com/@thelondonvideographer/video/7550650812616248578
Then came their choreographed first dance — elegant and emotional — followed by the descent into full party mode. Drinks flowing, the dance floor packed, music bumping, guests vibing until late.
Why This Wedding Was More Than a Job — It Was an Experience
Honestly? This wasn’t just work for me. It was an experience. With Old Thorns as the backdrop, a couple who knew what they wanted, and families unafraid to dance, laugh and roast — it felt like I was capturing more than a wedding: I was capturing a memory for life.
Thank you, Riddhi and Angad, for letting me be a part of your story. What a ride.
